“If you didn’t know history, you didn’t know anything. You were a leaf that didn’t know it was part of a tree.” Therefore, history or past events are an integral part of our life, which influence our future actions. History not only tells us how the life and society came into being but it also teaches us about the past civilization, culture, principles, both good and bad, of the past societies, so we don’t repeat dangerous mistakes that caused trouble in the past, as “History is the sum total of the things that could have been avoided.”
Learning from the past mistakes, we can recall different ways of approaching things, so we could improve ourselves as well as the society.
