Why do computers slow down

With time every person or thing becomes old and debilitated. When we age, our power to work vanishes fast and we can only think about the times when we were young and agile. It is true that when our computers age it becomes old and do not perform as fast as we would like. Slow computers can be a bother because they disrupt your working pace and you have to unnecessarily wait around for a program to start. There are many different reasons which make your computer slow apart from old age and long use.

One of the reasons why your computer goes slow is that sometimes the various different programs you use get misaligned inside your hardware. When we use too many programs they start using some co-related or interdependent files. Such files are scattered all over your hardware and to access them for running a program the hardware has to move fast and you have to wait long. This wears off your hardware and makes your computer slow. Apart from this you may be facing problem with the RAM of your computer. If the memory stops functioning properly then the computer slows down considerably.

When the computer starts showing cryptic messages on the screen and takes longer than 5-10 minutes to boot it may mean that too many unnecessary automatic mode applications are choking your computer’s performance. Delete the problematic startup applications and keep your PC clean to dodge this problem. Installing heavy and needless programs in your computer can also make your PC slower than usual. Deleting programs you do not require is the only way to solve this problem. The windows operating system uses the registry for storing references. When there are too many faulty references the window starts slow and becomes dysfunctional.
