Why Do People Google

Google for various purposes has become a necessity for some people, while others do it for fun. You may look for any key term on a search engine if you need information about it. Read on to know what most of the people Google for.

For information verification and finding supportive information

Many a times, people have some information with them but they do not trust the sources of that information or need to verify the information itself. In such cases, they do keyword search or search for particular websites on search engines. They Google to find a variety of valid sources that could provide them the right information. When people work on different tasks, they might require some information to support their tasks. Thus, they seek this supportive information from search engines.

For fun

People also Google to look for such sources that could entertain them or through which they could have fun. Thus, they find movie, music, gaming and similar website sources by searching the Web through Google.

For getting answers to their questions

You may have dealt with a variety of queries that simply had no answers and even others around you could not answer those questions due to lack of knowledge about these. Many people face such situations in their everyday life. Then, they turn to find those answers on search engines, as there are innumerable people out there in the world who would have those answers. In fact, there are hardly any questions now that are not answered by performing a search engine check.

For plain spoon feeding

Many people honestly claim that they Google to be spoon-fed with information on various websites and online sources. For example, when a child has to work on a school project, parents mostly Google the related information so they get an easy way out to supply it to their child. Thus, it is not actually the hard work of a child that is involved in creating that project, but it is just the spoon feeding that is being done to him/her by parents who in turn are being spoon-fed by search engines and online information sources.
